Since we first moved in, we have followed the tradition of taking off our footwear and leaving our flappers on the doorstep. We have just been given notice by the new management that this is to stop and all shoes and other walking gear will now need to be taken inside our condos.
The new system is due to start on 15th July before footwear is removed and we will get seven days to re-claim them before they are donated to charity.
I have to say I am unsure why this is happening as the shoes do not interfere with the cleaning of the hallways and I am also not happy at their directive- on whose authority and why?
We're going to leave a cheap pair of flappers out as a test case to see how this is going to work out but it's hardly the best way to introduce yourselves as the new boys in town, is it?
