Only Way we can Ever get the Title

A spokesperson for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club has confirmed that a claim has been launched for the 2016/2017 Premier League title to be awarded to them instead of Chelsea.
According to documents that have been seen by Southend News Network, Spurs officials are claiming that the final seven-point gap between them and Chelsea at the summit was ‘inconclusive.’
In a further claim, they are also saying that the lack of a title winners parade around the streets of South West London means that Chelsea do not have the mandate to call themselves ‘champions.’
A source within the club said: ‘We have informed the Premier League that we intend to claim the 2016/2017 league title.’
‘After all, the gap between us and Chelsea was seven points, and a mere seven points out of a possible 114 is hardly conclusive evidence that you are worthy champions.’
‘We have now commenced negotiations with Leicester City to form a coalition that will combine their 44 points with our 86 – this will give us a clear mandate to win the league.’
However, fans from other Premier League clubs have expressed concerns over the move, with people accusing Leicester City of having ‘an appalling’ record in the treatment of Claudio Ranieri.
A spokesperson for Leicester rubbished these claims, saying: ‘We are only going to enter into an arrangement with Tottenham Hotspur for the good of the Premier League as a whole.’
‘Besides, Tottenham Hotspur applied a huge amount of pressure to Chelsea over the course of the season.’
‘Surely that has to count for something at the end of the day.’
