On Yer Bike

In the tradition of stating the bleedin' obvious, a report has found that London's public transport is the most expensive in the world.  All together now:  "no shit, Sherlock".

A monthly travelcard costs £135 more than £33  in Dublin, which was ranked second priciest city.  In third place we have Auckland, where a ticket costs £95

Predictably Transport for London (TfL) said the findings did "not show the true cost of transport in other countries" and further went on to blame global warming, terrorism, the fall out from leaving Europe, illegal immigrants, property prices, Sunderland getting relegated, ginger people, Thatcher and Tellytubbies*.
