Just been flicking through this article at Metro where there is a petition to prevent companies from insisting on making women wear high heels to work. It seems MPs are about to debate this dubious practise.
I am unsure how this kind of thing can even exist in the 21st century- along with "being told to dye their hair blonde, wear revealing outfits and to constantly reapply make-up".
Isn't already law that all employees must be treated equally at their place of work? Why aren't these companies being sued for their sexist behaviour?
Never mind debating it, try enforcing it.
