Trumpton's Tip Top Fluff

Trumpton's continuing embarrassment in the public media lurched further down the foot in mouth barometer when he had his midweek round up/sound off with the press, where he defended his administration and attacked the media for bias and "fake news".

At one point, the president spoke about the media's coverage of his diplomatic relations with Russia, when he claimed that as secretary of state Hillary Clinton had given Russian 20% of the uranium in America.

"You know what uranium is right? It's a thing called 'nuclear weapons' and other things, like lots of things are done with uranium including some bad things."

Aside from him besties with Putin, what is it he is actually saying?  He is so inarticulate I am surprised he doesn't come with a translator.

But this piece reminded me of one of my all time favourite quotes that puts American "spelling" right back into its box:

It's aluminium- unless you're going to start saying plutonum and uranum.
