Wifey has got it into her head that she wants to renew her annual visa herself and avoid costly agent's fees. I am all for cutting costs, but I do dread wasting a whole or more at Immigration, which is exactly what we can expect by having to queue properly (using an agent allows us to jump the line due to their contacts).
On the face of it, it all seems quite simple. Just one form and a lot of copies of relevant documents in triplicate. However, some immigration officers are more Farang friendly than others and the stricter ones require all kinds of additional paperwork.
As ever, wifey has read up on what is required and arranged for our landlady to supply us her details and so we feel fairly confident we can DIY.
We'll find out on Monday when we give it a crack but it's going to be an early start and a late finish whether we succeed or not.
