Explain That

Looking for ways to chisel extra cash from simply trying to buy on-line, someone, once upon a time, came up with a brain wave by introducing credit card fees.

OK, fair enough.  It does cost the retailer more to obtain payment in this manner so we go along with it but I question the amount some traders charge.

It is not uncommon to be stung for up to £25/transaction yet yesterday when getting Izzard tickets, we paid a modest THB 40 on top- and that is for two tickets.

Aye, that's well under a pound, GBP.  How can the Brits justify the exorbitant difference?
