Pah, I mock thee.
Found some German ham (the equivalent of Prosciutto) at the back of the fridge proceeded to fry it off. I may be the only one who does this but it makes for brilliant bacon with a really savoury hit and with less fat and I love it.
Anyway, I was aware of it being quite old but when wifey looked at the "best before" date, she remarked it was back in June 2016.
Vacuum packed, it was still fine and I had one of the most impressive bacon sarnies in a long time yesterday.
