I don't mind reporting our continued stay to the authorities every three months but it is a right pain in the arse to have to travel all the way across town to the immigration offices at Chaengwattana.
For a start it you'll need to take the BTS to the end of the line at Mo Chit and then a cab for anything from 15 - 45 minutes, depending on traffic.
You can expect to encounter queues and mayhem but once you have taken care of all of that, you will have to wait for your magic number to be displayed before spending a scant five minutes being processed.
Why can't we just take our paperwork to the local Plod shop and get them to stamp us in?
Anyway, we have to go next week...
