Schools Unofficially Out

Truancy in London is getting worse, with nearly 11 000 (10 800) pupils not turning up to class, every day.

These record breaking figures are revealed despite the Government having spent more than £1billion on "anti-truancy measures", as the proportion of pupils bunking off across England rises for the fifth year in succession in 2008.

As the teachers used to be allowed to say: F- must do better.

  1. Don't you just love this "Government of the People" - let's find a hole, throw a lot of borrowed money in it, bury it and then charge the populous for the pleasure. Wankers!
