Following the reply from the Citrus Hotel Management, I tried to reply on tripadviser but it seems they don't permit it:
Dear Reviewer, Thank you for writing a review on TripAdvisor. As our review guidelines state, we only publish one review per property from each member. We do this to prevent members from submitting multiple reviews about the same property and preventing other reviewers from expressing their opinions. Though this may be an inconvenience for those who frequently return to a property, we want to ensure that every user has an equal voice. However, we do appreciate updated reviews! If you would like to update your review about a property, please feel free to contact us at support@tripadvisor.com and request that your old review be removed. Please include the subject of your review. Once we remove your review, we will let you know that it is safe to submit an updated review. Thank you for your understanding. We appreciate your contributions to the TripAdvisor travel community. Best regards, TripAdvisor Support Team [138]
But here it is anyway:
-- original review -- Subject: Citrus Hotel Location: Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia, Asia Title: Follow Up ID#: 21919167 In response to comments left by norman_v, General Manager (Management representative): Thank you for taking the time to reply and in response I comment as follows: First off, it is not the hotel's problem for the way in which guests conduct themselves at breakfast and it bears no reflection on the quite excellent service the hotel provides. Nor would having breakfast sent up to our room have been much use when we were entertaining my mother-in-law, whom we have not seen for nearly a year as we travel around the world. However, the offer of room service is an excellent suggestion for the next time when we return on our own. I also write to single out Mr Dilmindar Patel (Front Office Manager) who made such an effort to meet with me, despite his heavy workload to look into the concerns we have mentioned. Once he was aware, rectification was instant and much appreciated. As was his personal send off on our last day to ensure our taxi was waiting and to pass on his best wishes on our continuing travels. He, along with Sara and Tini from the Executive Club are great ambassadors for the Citrus Hotel and we look forward to meeting up with them again in future years. We also look forward to returning and hope that a non-smoking floor/room is not a privilege reserved for the more affluent guests and that bedside lamps are in situ to allow peaceful reading without disturbing slumbering partners. If you can sort out these issues you will be onto a clear winner.
