More on Nosh

Already rapidly becoming one of our favourite dining experiences, frizz restaurant is but a few minutes stroll away and offers a large, varied and great value for money menu. With the addition of first class staff, clean and comfortable surroundings and a comprehensive drinks list, you'll have a great time here.

Wifey tried the traditional Khmer Amok, which consists of steamed fish in a turmeric sauce with spices under a layer of creamy coconut, presented in a banana leaf dish and I had the Saik Moan Char Kari- chicken chunks in curry spices, as hot or not as you like.

Best meal to date and we'll be regulars here. Particuarly as I am just dying to have a taste of their steak and Guinness pie.

Looking at their website, it seems that Rick Stein has also paid a visit recently and the place will be in one of his food series on the BBC. Watch it and get all jealous. ;-)

From the site:

BBC's top chef Rick Stein was at frizz restaurant on the first leg of his tour for a new television series on South East Asian cuisines. The film crew spend about three hours with our chef Heng (nicknamed Lucky), who not only works for frizz restaurant, but also for the Cambodia Cooking Class.

We were very proud the production team had chosen frizz restaurant as the location to film genuine, traditional Cambodian cuisine. Rick and Lucky had a wonderful time together and happily chatted away on Khmer cooking, Heng's life and passion for food, and Phnom Penh.
