The latest trial scheme for pupils who have "anger management" issues is to allow them a "time out" whenever they feel they are due to lose their tempers.
The person simply holds a card aloft at any point in the lesson and is permitted to leave the class to retire to a quiet room to calm down.
Yeah, right and that is not going to be abused much...

it is strange that 100 years ago there were no students with math or linguistic disabilities, needing to go out during the class at any time, having lots of excuses not to do anything at all and so on.
